Carb Easy is an extremely useful tool for anyone who is following a low carbohydrate nutritional approach. The program is very user friendly and has many features that help you stay on track and enthusiastic about your progress. Some of the main program features are:
  1. Carbohydrate gram counter (database) included with over 130 pre-loaded foods. This database allows searching, viewing, adding, editing and deleting food items. The food items are categorized to make them easier to find.
  2. Capability to track statistics about your low carbohydrate program such as:
    1. Today''s carb grams consumed
    2. Daily carb grams allowed
    3. Date you started the program
    4. Days on program
    5. Weeks on program
    6. Average pounds lost per day
    7. Average pounds lost per week
    8. Pounds lost last 7 days
    9. Pounds lost last 30 days
    10. Weight - starting, current and target
    11. BMI (Body Mass Index) - starting, current and target
    12. Pounds/BMI lost and percent of target
    13. Height - used when calculating BMI
  3. Journal for keeping track of meals eaten during each day along with a place to put in notes each day.
  4. A color bar chart that shows your progress on 3 different statistics since starting the program. The history of your progress is also viewable in a table format. For those of you who have already started on your program prior to getting this tool, the capability has been provided for you to enter historical records to bring your progress up to date.
  5. Integrated context sensitive help system to explain how each screen is used.
  6. Intuitive navigation via a "button bar" that is always visible at the bottom of each screen.
